I have lived at my address of 23 years, and have thought I was friends with my mail delivery folks: Walter, Jean, Karrisa, and a new woman. Unfortunately, my house is 0.7 miles up a dirt road from Highway 26, where my large mailbox is. My original neighbor & I used to grade the road to keep it healthy, but he died 10 years ago. His son, also an unfortunate person, lives in NM, and has rented his dad's house to a family of 4-6 selfish people who also have disabled children, lots of chickens, & are backyard dog breeders. Besides the fact that they take all my well water, they also have torn up the road. My car has lost everything from underneath it! So, I think, Karrisa decided to no longer bring my packages to my house, although I do see packages at the neighbors. I am 81 years old, broke my neck and back 2 years ago caring for my rez dog rescues, and have had to have 3 brain surgeries. I can't clean my house this weekend because I have 2 packages that were not delivered - that I have to drive to town to pick up. I just got another message from the animal supply company that there is more coming tomorrow. What can I do to help with this? I will try to drive my tractor up and down the driveway to smooth out the bumps, but I haven't been able to do that in 2 years. Fingers crossed that I don't kill myself to try to get my packages delivered - as I used to. I've given Karrisa a little pup (which unfortunately her mentally ill husband made her give back to me), bought him special coffee when he was in Afghanistan, give her $50 gift certificates every Christmas. She used to keep in touch with me when there were crashes that closed off the highway, or when there was too much snow. I dont' know what's happened - other than having stupid selfish neighbors live nearby - which isn't anything I can remedy. Should I just give up and get a PO Box, and hope I can continue to drive? I'm so sorry about all this, and I've tried to get an attorney, but the owner of the trailer won't answer him. Can anyone help me?
