I have tried to call your office regarding delayed receipt of held mail. I requested a hold from Jan 5th until January 29th. I received my daily mail on January 29th with some mail from the prior 2-3 weeks in my mailbox. I received a large volume of held mail yesterday February 7th. I have tried to call your office and after multiple rings, the call is ended by the post office. I have also had issues with damage to my mailbox by delivering mail persons on 3 occasions. Most recently, I had to have a major repair done to my mailbox because the delivery person attempted to jam in a large volume of mail and essentially tore the front panel off. The mailbox is made of copper and had to be welded. I have placed a note on the mailbox asking the carrier to deliver any large items that do not easily fit through the slot to avoid further damage. In the past, I have placed a hold on my mail and have never had a delay. Not sure why I had a 10 day delay.
