West Seneca Post Office

Had a package that was sent FedEx Post and it was floating around for over two weeks. They took the time to help trace with FedEx to find the shipment. Wonderful customer service. Thank You

On Thurs 17 Sep I met “Dave” the mailman to ask a question. He asked if I wanted my mail left at my door instead of the mailbox. At first I said yes, yet it would accumulate as I’m a primary care giver for a family member in Buffalo. I stayed to “leave my mail in the mailbox”. Dave insisted on putting it at my door where any neighbor in the Bldg could see my mail, credit cards, and other important documents could be taken or removed so I insisted my mail be delivered in the mailbox. Today Dave threw my mail at the door. I am asking that my mail be delivered to the mailbox only. Thank you C Michaels

My mail is usually pretty good, but occasionally it get mixed up with some one the same house number, but on a different street. When this happens, I put the mail back out for delivery with a note on it saying wrong address. But I don't know if the person at the other location does the same for my mail. I can't seem to get my bank statements for my checking & savings accounts. 3 months in a row. Yet I get statements from the same bank for my investment account. The 2 envelopes are a slightly different shape and the one has blue paper showing through the window, while the other is white. I get the blue ones, not the white ones. Not sure why this is happening. The bank insures me that they are mailing them.

I went to the post office located at 4250 Lake Ave...in Buffalo NY. I arrived two minutes before opening time of 8:30 am. There were 2 customers ahead of me, an elderly woman and a young man, and myself. The employee {John) greeted us with the following: "You are the idiots who go out in the snow to mail letters!" At first, I thought he was just making a smart remark, but it became obvious that this was not the case. The woman was the first to approach the counter. John, then said: " I hope you get stuck in the snow when you leave!" I couldn't believe what I was hearing! I told the young man ahead of me that, if I wasn't worried about what John might do to my package, I would say something to him. The lady had a few small packages that needed postage and John told her to follow the prompt on the screen in front of her. Apparently, she didn't understand the instructions, so John proceeded to tell her: " You didn't follow the instructions, did you!" The lady, very politely apologized and was fumbling through her purse for her glasses. Needless to say I was in disbelief! I approached the counter and told John he was an asshole! He responded by calling me a tough guy, with a threatening demeanor. I went to a different post office and was taken care of properly. I hope that appropriate action is taken against this employee.
