Today I thought I was doing a reasonably good thing . It was the yearly postal food drive, I put a bag of mainly canned goods out by the mailbox.I knew it was a little heavy so I double bagged it.When the mail person came by she tried to yank the bag up by it's handles causing it to break. She then proceeded to throw the cans into the back of the van. Not a reasonably gentle toss but throwing them hard enough that I assume many of the cans are now dented. She has also previously told me she does not get paid to deliver Amazon packages. She needs to find a job she doesn't hate.

Countless times they act with incompetence. This latest: I ordered two gallons of vinegar from Amazon. At 09:43 tracking left a comment the package was damaged. 09:45, tracking shows item was attempted delivery but no access through driveway. Lies, My wife was home and the gate was open. 12:00 wife goes down to calhan post office to inquire. They stated the item was busted and showed her the box. Wife refused delivery. They blame amazon for poor packaging. Funny how it made it all the way to calhan without being broken. 18:00, checked Amazon for tracking. Tracking says package delivered. This post office is loaded with lies. Definitely getting the postmaster involved in this one, again. From lost packages, to stolen mail. this post office should be shut down until they can hire a competent postmaster. This has been going on for the 30 years I have lived out here in eastern el paso county.
