This post office has THE WORST customer service ever! 95% of the time, they DO NOT answer their phone. They just let it ring and ring and ring. 95% of the time there are LONG LINES going out the door because they have only 1 or 2 people working at the customer service counter! Including during the busier hours and seasons! (Hello ... ever heard of 'planning' and 'shifting schedules' so as to accommodate the expected influx? Duh, Gee, Wally, I don't think so) Obviously, whoever runs the Payson, AZ branch is a moron when it comes to scheduling personnel to provide CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They couldn't care less about how long people have to wait in line, as if their customers' don't matter at all. The attitude of the oldest person working the service counter really SUCKS! It's obvious she's been there far too long and has become a heartless, smart-ass robot. She really does need to be retired. And it seems her bad attitude has affected the entire Payson, AZ post office. Definitely NOT a friendly, happy, serving place to visit. Going into that post office really does SUCK!!

Extremely disappointed with this post office, I have a community mailbox that was hit by a car over a year and a half ago. When asked about when it will be replaced, every person at the post office says "I don't know". When I ask who I need to talk to, that tell me I can contact our state senator. When I ask if I could put up a mailbox at my address they reply " no that's not allowed". When I ask is they will supply a P O. Box they reply " yeah, but you have to pay for it". So for a year and a half, I have to go to the Post Office every single day and spend a half an hour waiting in line to get my mail. By my calculations a year and a half at half an hour average waiting in line, I have spent 195 hours waiting in line to get mail who's postage has already been paid to be delivered to my house! Maybe it's time that we terminate the Post Masters position and find someone who is capable of doing there job!

I had a box addressed to me shipped to my sister’s house because I’m going to be staying with her. Your post office sent the package back because they didn’t recognize the name. They didn’t attempt delivery but just returned the box. Now I have to pay shipping twice and pray that it gets delivered on the second attempt. I’m so upset that I could spit!
