I have had issues with the carrier dumping our mail into the street. That was four or And since then, he has held up very important mail, such as not delivering my license plate tabs until the very last day of the month they must be on my car. Today, I have been waiting for a debit card from my bank (Chase) to arrive. I have been a victim of fraud as determined by the bank to arrive. It was supposed to arrive by either today or yesterday, but for the past two days, there has been absolutely no mail in my mailbox. I am 81 years old and my two adult children are both in a nursing home, my son with is there due to a massive stroke that took away his speech and he is paralyzed on the left side, and my daughter who was diagnosed with cancer last Fall. At the first when we moved to this location (1021 SW 120th St., Seattle, WA 9814) we noticed that our mailbox was a tiny one, as compared to the other two large locking ones that were on the same wooden holder. And because we had a lot of incoming mail, that would not fit into our mailbox, the carrier simply dumped most of what would not fit in our mailbox into the street, where the Seattle rain destroyed all of it laying there. For weeks, I did not know that was happening, and my son who was becoming ill with the stroke that has later taken half of his body and all of his speech, also did not seem to understand what was happening. Our house is at the top of a hill, and the mailbox for our newly bought home when the mail issues became more apparent to me, I in my late 70s and early 80s, could not get down the steep driveway to the go across the street to get the mail. I assumed because the location of our newly bought home is and was located outside of the Seattle City limits and is in a newly incorporated city of Burien, WA, that our mail office was located in the Burien area of 150th St. SW, and that is where I turned in my firt complaint about the carrier dumping our mail in the street. Unfortunately, because we do not live in what is deemed to be the City limits of the newly formed town of Burien, years afterward we discovered that I had turned in a complaint about the carrier to the wrong Post Office, to that intended for the area code of 98166, instead of the one located inside the Seattle City limits, located at the Westwood Village Post Office.
