My post office is a branch in Moneta, VA 24121. I paid $25.00 back in September to have new keys made for my locked mail box (for myself and siblings). I had lost my car keys and the house key was on the keyring. The mail carrier is supposed to leave keys in mailbox, and I was told when I received them to take them back to this Post Office to have something done. However, the keys never came. It was so long that I forgot about it,. A couple of weeks ago, I realized I never got them and stopped by the post office just before they closed at 3:50 PM. One of the clerks took my name and phone number, and said someone woul call me, but I have not heard from anyone. Today, Dec 7, 2023, I tried calling, but got some national line and was put on hold after the computer tried to get me to request a call back about three times. The machine actually sounded exasperated! Then I saw the local number, but when I called, I was put on hold again after going through another menu. Then the phone cut off and gave me a busy signal twice. I gave up. I will have to visit again earlier in the day. The service in this place STINKS! I would give it a BIG FAT ZERO, but it was NOT an option.5

Our post office delivery person, Archie Musgrove, is a wonderful person. His work ethic is outstanding. We know this because Archie is on time, he helps to carry big boxes if we are unable, he is a great driver, he always says hello and if he has an extra heavy day, always waves if not able to stop.
