I already have history in the last 2 years of stolen bills mailed in Fairfax-22030, then the checks forged for thousands of dollars before coming to my account. The latest occurrences were all this month. On Nov 8 I handed personally my 2 mortgage bills to the mailman who stopped in front of my house. Three weeks later not one of the bills arrived at destination. I had to pay the bills by phone with late fees. Then, on Nov 13, a new bill (to Home Depot for $147.26) did not arrive. Instead, on Nov 24 the same check-stolen from the envelope-was forged for $6,000 and submitted to my account. Is there a criminal employee in the USPS in Fairfax 22030 opening and stealing-forging-selling checks from the regular mail? It is time for the USPS to save the few remaining customers still inclined to buy stamps and use its services by investigating and cleaning its reputation.

Bravo!!! recently, I had a package of my medication "go missing" in the USPS system. We called the 1800 customer service line and were told it would be handled. Unfortunately, it was not. after 6 days (from where we were told it would be delivered) we called again. No one could seem to find it. My husband began driving around Fairfax trying to find the package at our local post office. One of the supervisors (male) was incredibly helpful to my husband and made phone calls to try and find it. Asia called me personally on the phone to assure me that she would try to find the package. I was disheartened since we had been told this before. She even told me that SHE would deliver it to me that day if she found it. Asia delivered my medication to me around 4 pm that day and we just were so grateful. Both she and the supervisor who helped my husband exemplify professionalism and customer service! Thank you so much for renewing our faith in the USPS!! Patricia and Vincent McDade
