I had to pay $35 to replace the lock on my mailbox across the street. The lock was just worn down but the post office would not replace it as part of maintenance of the box. I paid the $35 more than two weeks ago and got the keys but they still have not come out to replace the lock. I caught the postman last week and will have to go this Saturday to the Post Office to complain and get them to do their job. I can't even pickup my mail since it is in the box with the old lock. To top it off, I have tried calling multiple times at different times of day and the phone just rings until it hangs up. The ladies at the counter were very polite and nice but they sure need to get better at taking care of business.
