This post office and most of its staff are completely incompetent. We regularly receive other peoples mail and our packages and mail are delivered to the wrong address which occurs on a weekly basis. They then have the audacity to continue to place notices on vehicles that are NOT blocking the mailbox within a cul-de-sac for almost 15 years DESPITE the US Postmaster of that location coming out and looking at the situation and telling us she would instruct the carriers to STOP doing that based on the geography of the cul-de-sac. We also have experienced "random" mail holds when we have not originated them and our mail is held at the post office. When the postal manager is questioned as to how or who is doing this, they never have an answer and blow us off. Complete and utter failure at customer service and poor delivery service. These and many other reasons are why the USPS is going bankrupt.

This post office needs retraining of all staff, training in answering the phone and helping customers, and intensive monitoring for thieves within the office. I'm still waiting for my certified mail to come back to me. When I called the Allen post office numerous times, someone finally picked up after I pushed "O" for operator help. The young black mail clerk who answered the phone flippantly said of my certified mail piece " it wasn't claimed". I identified myself to her as the person who sent the mail, read her the certified tracking number several times, and she said "well it takes longer to come back to you". I've been waiting four weeks now, and it should be simple to track the mail and send it straight back to me.
