Dear Postmaster McCurry, Thank you so much to you and your team for hosting our Leadership Gallatin group at the Gallatin Post Office. We are truly grateful for the time, care, and hospitality you extended to us. Walking us through the journey of the mail — from arriving from Nashville in the wee hours of the morning, to being sorted, sent out with drivers, and even having stragglers return to be rerouted — was both fascinating and eye-opening. Seeing the precision, coordination, and dedication required to keep everything moving smoothly gave us a deep appreciation for the essential role your team plays in our community. We were especially thankful for the way you and your staff took time to thoughtfully answer all of our questions and treated us with kindness and respect, even though it was clearly the end of a long and eventful day. That level of professionalism and generosity did not go unnoticed. Thank you again for your leadership, your service, and for the important work you do each and every day. I have not visited your office however I am concerned about (2) pieces of mail I have not received. One was on 10/21 and the other on 10/25/. They were supposed to be delivered on Wednesday & Thursday, on Wednesday of the 10/21 date and on the Thursday after the 10/25 date for the other one. As of today, I have not received either one. I am hoping they were not delivered to someone else.

I waited 2 weeks for my new bank card before calling my bank. They tracked it and said it was delivered via the post office to box 10! There is NO box 10 at my complex! Instead of returning it to the bank due to insufficient address, the mail person blatantly lied. The bank had to cancel that card and reissue! It has caused a great inconvenience because someone didn’t do their job correctly!

For your information and my security, today I found our cluster box left unlocked. I live at 800 S. Browns Lane M-3 and this makes 4 times I have found our cluster left unlocked. Today I had a package and I just opened the entire door to get the package out. Do not believe you would want your mail left unsecured and neither do I. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter and I trust this will not happen any more.
