I was at this location today, 12/6/25, at 9:00 am. Not a good experience. I was the third person in line. The gate did not open until 9:05. Okay, not a big deal. The man working said it would be about another 5 minutes before he could take a customer because the computer had to start. He said if anybody was mailing a package they could do it themselves at the self-serve kiosk. The first person in line opted to do that. He finally took the second person about 9:10. Again, not a big deal. Then about 5 minutes later it was my turn. All I needed was a book of stamps. I was told he couldn’t sell them to me because the vault wasn’t open and directed me to the self-serve kiosk or to “come back later”. I had already stood in line for 15 minutes. I didn’t have time to “come back later” and I needed a BOOK of stamps not just one, so the self-serve kiosk wasn’t going to be of any help. So I left without the stamps. The icing on the cake was the clerk acted as if he was being inconvenienced for doing his job.

I fell on ice this morning in front of the Monroeville Post Office. Tore my pants and hurt my knee (I have pictures if you want me to forward them). It was around 10:30 am. After managing to get up (several people asked if I was ok), I went inside and told an employee at the counter what happened and told her they should put something out to melt the ice.
