I have experienced the Ardmore PO closing early TWICE, now, within the past month. The first time, the excuse was "illness"; the second time (today), "flooding" (though I saw or heard no evidence of that, from the lobby). I don't know if this is just coincidence-- as it's always when I really need to get a package posted-- or if it's just that someone wants to go home early? I don't drive, so I can't go to another Post Office, easily. You'd think there would be backup? This is a federal building, so it ought to keep to its hours. And it's always at the last minute. Is there a staffing problem, does the building need to be renovated-- or what? Thanks.
