I finally understand the mentality of the U.S. Post Office. I was in the Gahanna location yesterday. It very quickly turned into a circus. Employees at the front desk try to be friendly but the conversations among themselves and what’s going on on in their personal lives need to stop , it distracts from the interaction with the customer. Especially at the Pass Port desk. Because of the new rules and regulations that employee need to focus on that process. While standing in line I got the opportunity to experience a visit from an executive at the postmaster level. She and her assistant walked in like two banny rosters and started strutting around ripping outdated posters off of the walls and littering interrupting the employees that were waiting on customers. Then took the manager off of the floor for a conversation while we the customer waited on her to finish. She gave off an appearance that she was very proud of her position. By the time she left we were sent to a young woman who truly knew what she was talking about and were able to get one passport completed. The second one needed a birth certificate so we had reschedule. The total cost will be over 500.00 when finished. FYI: THE WEBSITE IS TRULY A JOKE AND DOESNT COME CLOSE TO BEING USER FRIENDLY. It will also except a credit card then reject your application. I also went back and read some of the reviews. Barely a 2 out of 5 for over 100 reviews for this location. I don’t blame the employees I blame management, and they showed up and showed out!
