My wife and I love all of the New Mexico post offices but Taos (87571) is our favorite! They have the friendliest, most helpful people. Even when new employees appear they seem to instantly become friendly, helpful, knowledgeable folks. I have a problem I need to communicate to the Taos Post Office. My PO Box (2240) is likely overflowing. I have not been able to drive to town. I sprained both feet and they are very painful. I am hoping that by Friday I can drive to town and pick up mail. There may be some packages. I should probably drive to the rear-deck to minimize walking with packages, if possible. We love all our rural post offices but Taos is our favorite.
