I sent a certified manilla envelope to Ann Arbor CPA, Khaled Hazzouri, at 180 Little Lake Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48103. I did not put Suite 3 on the address because it was not on my tax accountant's letterhead. The envelope was returned, marked insufficient address. To the right of the address there were initials JA and Bus, dated 2-22-24. A code, R13, was noted to the left of the address. It seems the postal carrier could have figured that this was a tax return and since there are only about 10 suites in that building, it would not have been hard to locate the correct one. I have always thought highly of the USPS, but am sorely disappointed now. Please talk to that postal carrier about customer service. Also, prior to sending this envelope certified, I had sent one first class on February 5, 2024. That one is lost, having never been returned to sender (me), nor has the office received it.
