If there was a minus rating, I would have given it that rating. This is the most horrible branch of the post office that I have ever had to dealt with. Several weeks ago, I ordered blank checks and after not receiving them for a couple of weeks I called the check provider who stated that the checks were mailed out. I am registered with the USPS mail notification email service and received an email indicating when the checks were to be delivered. I telephoned the Johnson St. post office only to be told that they dd not have the checks. Two to three days after contacting the post office I received the checks. I received an email from USPS on Wednesday 1/31/24 indicating that I was going to receive mail from a previous employer with my W2 forms needed to file my income tax. I am still waiting on this mailing as of 2/6/24. I spoke with my regular mail carrier, and she stated that she didn't have the letter and it probably got mixed up at the station, but she would check and if it was located, she would come back to deliver it. I still haven't received the letter. I can understand not getting mail on the date that is indicated on the USPS email; however, I do not understand not receiving the letter almost a week later. It appears that the manager at this location could care less because if they cared then the employees would be trained properly, and the location would run smooth. Whoever is sorting the mail at this location is doing a horrible job and this should be corrected Perhaps they could use some of the money from the rate increase to train their personnel.
