I have been trying to contact this PO for over a month concerning my mail. I have called the local number multiple time and hours during that time, and the line is never answered. It rings until it disconnect to a dial tone. What do the even have a telephone line for? Different days of the week, different times through the business hours and nothing.

This is a continuation of the on-going saga of my mother’s missing funeral thank you notes. The Sebastian Post Office charged us $53.00 to ship this package to North Andover, MA with a guaranteed delivery of 6PM the next day. My husband dropped this package off to the clerk after 2:30PM on 1/16/24 and was supposed to be delivered on 1/17/24 at 6PM. As my husband was going out the door, he heard a conversation with the mail truck driver asking if there were anymore overnight packages and the driver was told he had everything. Our package wasn’t there because it was just dropped off. So they took our $53 and did not tell us it was too late for an overnight the next day. Our package was put in with the regular delivery. It has been 6 days and we still have no idea where our package is today. This package was related to my mother’s funeral. The desk clerks at the Sebastian Post Office are to blame for the mental anguish I have been put through over this package. They are arrogant and really should take a class on dealing with the public. Their people skills leave a lot to be desired. Shame on them for making an already emotional situation worse. I have escalated this to the USPS office and there is an investigation into this situation. Again, if there was a rating lower than 1 star, I would select it.

The USPS treatment of people’s mail is both incompetent and unacceptable. The Sebastian Post Office is no different. Especially when there is a problem and they refuse to answer the phone. My mother died a month ago in Massachusetts. My husband and I are residents of Sebastian. When we got home, I wrote out 60+ thank you notes, stamped them and tried to ship them in an overnight package to North Andover to be mailed from there. Most of the recipients were from MA. We brought the package to the Sebastian Post Office on Tuesday, 1/16/24. Paid $53 for overnight delivery on Wednesday, 1/17/24. The package arrived in Orlando on 1/17/24 until it supposedly was shipped out at 9:16PM. Today is Saturday, 1/20/24 and the status on the Tracking Site is still 1/17/24 at 9:16PM. I tried contacting Sebastian Post Office without any luck since they don’t answer the phone. I finally contacted the USPS and have escalated this situation. I am appalled at the way people our treated by the USPS. Again, it is incompetent and unacceptable. I rated Sebastian with one star. If there was something lower, I would have selected it.

is the 4th time my mail is missing, shows that was delivered but nothing was there, I will try to contact the post master, because I think the mail carrier is committing a federal crime , or she took it or was delivered to the wrong address, they are suppose to take pictures but the carrier always get away with the missing mail, If the post master doesn't find a solution or retrieved the mail I will file a complaint to the FBI for stolen mail and I will press charges again the post master and carrier, like I said is not the first time.
