I was at USPS Lockhart Branch to pick up a registered letter. I got my ID out and handed it to 'Althea'. She gave my ID back to me and I put it in my wallet. I left and realized about half hour later that I forgot my wallet! I drove back and Althea had my wallet. I almost expected the cash to be gone and was more concerned about my ID. Everything was there! I was told that the letter carrier for my address was informed, and he was going to leave a note in my mailbox. When I got home, there was a note on my door letting me know that I had left my wallet at USPS Lockhart, and a reminder that they close at 12:00 PM. I do not know the letter carrier's name, but I am grateful to both he and Althea! Excellent customer service, 'above and beyond'. I am happy that I live within the Lockhart Branch area, I know I will be taken care of. THANK YOU! : D
