I purchased an item from a company in North Carolina which was shipped to me via USPS. On line tracking indicates it arrived at the Rocky Hill Post Office at 5 AM on Saturday, September 5th. I expected it would be delivered to me later in the day on Saturday, as we normally don't receive our mail until later in the day. It was not delivered on Saturday, and I have now been notified I will receive it sometime today. Why was delivery delayed from Sept. 5 to Sept. 8? Is this USPS idea of service?
