I have requested the hold my mail cards from my carrier, at my mailbox for the past week. In 54 years I have never had a problem. You go to the door at my home. None of the carriers have responded and now I have hand written as i had come here looking to see if I could do it online, whcih if you can, I cannot find. I subscribe to USPS daily snaps on incoming mail. Many many times I see what is coming and yet I get no mail delivery at all. I also rely on my grocery ads on Tues as some products are avaiable to supply on hand...so I cant get a jump on getting there early if I havent gotten my mail. Often not getting them at all. Like I see a Costco book is coming and I never get it. Guessing this is due to laziness as there are a few of us on this street and surrounding who have been here for decades and are grandfathered in for door mail delivery. Also, I used to be able to set my watch by my delivery time. Now, wow, I never know, cant count on a thing. Past week, it was almost dark out. In the winter, it is dark out. Simply mail comes at all times of the day. The things that show you are getting you dont get. a HOLD mail card. Cant request online. Being disabeled, I have requested they ring the bell on delivery. The bell is a foot from the box. All at the front door. so I am forched to hobble, fall to try to make it many times a day to check if the mail was delivered. Dont know if it is a day I watch him drive right by the house when I know I have mail coming. Art Ponce, RIP was the best. He was here at 9:30 am on the nose daily! NEWS FLASH, today a few minutes ago, hubby coming home followed the mailman to get the hold card. So thats how ya do it. Dont clip the request to the box, ya just chase em down. The wild wild west!
