good day, i have noticed a few times that during mail delivery days my mail is not picked up from my mail box (outgoing)--i always place mail to be sent out in a visible manner prior to 10 AM. i thought maybe there were no mail carriers working my street that day...this happens infrequently, but i recall it has happened more than one ocassion. today i observed the mail carrier walk right by my house and not even look to see if i had any outgoing mail...i did and it was out since 10 AM and at after 3 PM they had no mail to deliver and did not bother to take my letters. with the cost of postage these days, we should expect better service. sorry to have to report this, but sometimes i need these letters mailed when i put them out and not just when the carrier has to drop something off. very disappointed! i gave this carrier an additional hour or so to swing back around just in case...did not happen.
