We received a written notice on Friday, 8/1/25 that we were in “violation” of 8&9 from our mail carrier. Nowhere in the note that was left in the mailbox did it state our service would be SUSPENDED until the corrections were made. As of 8/4/25 I trimmed the short, green “flammable materials” as was mentioned. No where in this note did it state that our mail service would be suspended until corrections were made, so it was a shock to find out our packages were “delivered” but nothing was in our mail box. Later on the same day, 8/4/25, I received a notice for a delivery that stated “held at post office per customer request”. At no point did I request my parcel to not be delivered to my residence, which seems like an over reach from the delivery driver to impersonate me and my requests. Very disappointing to get a written notice on a Friday, for 10-12 weeds that are shorter than 9” and green, to find our mail service has been suspended on Monday. Train your personnel as to what is a flammable hazard, or make sure they don’t loiter long enough to start a fire. I have photos of before and after, and I hope the post master can find the time to visit the mailbox and correct this nonsense.
