Dear Postmaster, We are on Lakeside Drive in Flint Texas. Over the past two years, we had a wonderful mail person, Felisha! She was the most friendly person in the world and it was a pleasure for the 14 households here to see her coming. Unfortunately now we have had two people, I believe one to be Robert and maybe Jennifer. Our service has fallen to the bottom of the barrel. Once, we had a package lost and not delivered because our friendly dog was outside. Our neighbors had a box returned to the post office because it would not fit in the mailbox. IT WAS A BOX OF PAPER TOWELS!! Today, I had to "cut" a box out of my mailbox because the carrier had stuffed it so hard into the box. Why cant we now have USPS packages dropped at our door as we have for the past 30 plus years. Most folks here are over 70 and I and probably not any other neighbor can cut a package out of my mailbox each time one is stuffed in there. Can you please tell me why the USPS service has gone down so badly? Is it a lack of supervision, a lack of training, a change in policy, or has unfriendly and uncaring people infiltrated your Post Office? Is there any possibility that you could hire Felisha back? She represented the USPS as the great organization that we have depended on for 7 decades and served us come rain, sleet, hail, snow, or bad carriers.
