I am a resident of the Vista Ridge subdivision off of Whiteoak dr in Stewart. We have a remote box that the Stewart branch delivers our mail to us and several other residents. We have been having an issue for the past week that when larger parcels are delivered the person obviously has not been instructed how the parcel box keys work. Several of us have had parcels in the lower boxes with the keys still in the doors and a note in our letter slot stating a box is in either 1 or 2. This is unacceptable. it exposes us to having our packages stolen. PLEASE train the delivery person that once the keys are in the door it indicates to them the recipient has retrieved the package and the key must be removed by the delivery person and until the next occasion a package is delivered to box 1 or 2 they then put the key in the mail slot of that person. If this is unclear, they can call my cell, and I can meet them at the box and teach them. Please send me an email to let me know this is being corrected.
