Open 24 hrs is always a plus

Substitute carriers and those delivering USPS packages need to learn how to read addresses I haven’t received mail in 4 days. I had a very important package to be delivered today by 9 which was returned to the post office and is being held for pick up. Problem is it was needed for unexpected travel at 7 am tomorrow to pack for a funeral. Reason for no delivery was lack of access. So unless this carrier was going to place it inside my home I don’t understand. I’m a single family home but these carriers continue to try to deliver either the apartment building down the street or to a similar named street.
