I brought in a priority mail padded flat rate envelope already stamped from my workplace. I was just looking to get a tracking number for the package. I dealt with two different women who were not pleasant to deal with. I was told that by bringing in this package from my Harrisburg workplace, I was ripping off the USPS by paying less for the stamp. NEWSFLASH...I did not come to the post office to purchase a stamp. The stamp was already on the package. She said the package should have been sent out in Harrisburg if it was stamped commercially...OMG! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! She said I needed to purchase a stamp for $10.60 for them to take my package. Of course, I said NEVERMIND and walked out. The worst part about this whole ordeal is the woman said "I was ripping off the USPS" right in front of another customer. Shame on her! I was livid but kept my cool because normally I would have given her a piece of my mind. Both of those women need to go back to customer service training because they both flunked the test on how to treat customers with respect. I normally go to the Halifax, PA post office (a neighboring town) because they have pleasant and courteous staff working there. I will not make the mistake of going to Millersburg again. Giving this post office a 1-star review is being generous.
