I live at 112 Elizabeth Ave, Brick, NJ 08724. On Friday, 5/26/23 I placed a stamped and addressed Sympathy card in my mailbox, to be picked up on Saturday, with the mailbox flag in the up position. As of 6:30 PM on Saturday, 5/27, the mail had not been picked up. I realize that my home is at the end of the mail route, and has been for perhaps 40 years or more. This is absolutely not the first time that the mail wasn't picked up or delivered. I'm pretty sure that it's because we're at the end of the route. I'm hoping in the future that the delivery route could be modified so that we who live at the end of the route won't get a lesser level of service just because of our location at the end of the delivery route. When I lived in Point Pleasant Borough, the mail carrier delivered the mail to our front door mailbox.
