I have lived in Maplewood for 26 years and have made a point of using the Post Office. I also fought for it to remain open to serve the city and its residents. However, my recent experiences have made me come to the conclusion that there is an "attitude problem" with a couple of their employees in the Post Office who service the customers. Today's experience was a case in point. No one was in the Post Office and no one was at the window. I approached the window to let them know someone had arrived. I was told to get "in line" and there was none - only a sign 5 feet back which I was willing to wait at if someone was going to come. She rudely said I could wait while she went to the package window - not full to put some in a cart. This woman is repeatedly rude and especially it seems with older white women - time to set us straight as to "whose the boss." THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will no longer use this Post Office unless I can be told efforts are being made to correct these attitude problems and outright rudeness. I try to keep the Post Office operating to save these people's jobs. They seem to not understand that they are going to end if this kind of rudeness continues.
