I called the Prospect Post Office today intending to renew renting the box I’ve had for several years. Lately, because I have travel back and forth from state to state, I requested my mail be forwarded to a temporary address. (Admittedly, I made a mistake this time by checking permanent address.) I talked to “Charles” who seemed informative, also, telling me my box had been deactivated. I had no idea—because my yearly payment expires March 31, 2023. As I recall, “Charles” told me I could get a refund; he also told me he would send me information on the US Postal Service regarding post office boxes and he took my email address. I did not receive any information from him. I had heard several negative comments about the Prospect Post Office and now I am adding a negative review. Being “polite” on the phone and then completely disregarding his promise after the conversation ended is not my kind of business. I think the one-star rating is too high!
