The week before leaving town, I submitted an Authorization To Hold Mail beginning 10/27/25 and resume mail delivery on 10/30/25. On 10/27/25 I confirmed via the USPS online tracking that a medication had been delivered to my mailbox on 10/27/25. Finally on 11/1/25 I contacted the shipper fearing the medication had been stolen. While on the phone, the mailman pulled up to my box with the day's delivery. I ran out and asked him why my medication had not been delivered on 10/27/25 as reported, noting that he was standing there with my medication package in hand. He said it was because of the mail hold. I told him that the hold ceased on 10/27/25. He said that the hold form was back at the post office so he could not explain further. After he left, I found the hold request in the day's mail delivery. This is not the only issue. Many days I will receive my USPS online advice of the day's mail delivery only to find out that no mail is delivered. I will say the the counter staff has improved a great deal, but the delivery service just continues to get worse.

I have been trying to contact this post office for the past three days to request help finding an extremely important missing piece of mail, but no one will answer the phone. I am desperate to get this letter, and I have filed a report with USPS online. According to Informed Delivery, it was supposed to be delivered September 23, 2023, but our mailperson did not deliver any mail to our neighborhood that day.
