I spoke with a supervisor for the Huntley Il post office anmed Mary. She gave me conflicting info from what the post office clerks told me 20 minutes later. I have not received my mail forwarding from Fl since May 10th. Mary told me I had to be verified within 21 days of requesting the forward online. I did that in Fl at the post office showing my ID, She said I could not be verified at the time of placing the change of address card in person. When I went to the Huntley PO the clerk told me that they verify people all the time when they submit the change of address card, I started getting mail from Fl Saturday with May date stamps. I think Mary as a supervisor needs to be informed correctly not to mention when I spoke with her she was quite rude. I understand the changes that have been made recently where people have to be verified. I submitted 3 change of addresses before it seems to have finally been valid. Spoke to the 800 number 3 times. Please Mary if you read this be more sympathetic with customers and be sure you have the correct info to give out.
