We are lucky to have some friendly professional people at our post office. A man named Randy was very friendly and efficient at his job. I know he's been there awhile and I hope the rest of the postal service goes back to this professionalism. Our carrier Taylor is a hard worker and very professional and efficient at her job with always has a smile for her customers. Our delivery service that delivers on off hours has a lot to be desired. When Amazon says it will be delivered by 8pm and then 9 pm and then it's still going to be delivered that day but it's after 10pm makes you think the postal service took on more then they can handle. I know people are hard to find to fill these jobs and good workers that care are very hard to find. I think the USPS took on more then they can handle and I know that wasn't a decision made locally but talking to some retired postal friends over the weekend the management doesn't appreciate the help they have and can treat the current employees better. Signs of appreciation are needed with the added burden put a upon them. I don't usaully care about a delivery but this time a year some products can't be left outside because of freezing tempatures. Then when the delivery doesn't arrive that day you might get it the next night by 8pm. It seems they must be loading and unloading packages repeatedly. I think a lot of Americans are thinking why is a public backed service is in competition with UPS and FedEx. I think our Postal workers are fantastic but I'm not sure about the management and upper management could figure out a better way beings I don't think Amazon's business is going away anytime soon. Management gets 2.5 stars. The people who do the work gets 5 stars.
