Within the last year we have had several issues with the Kilauea Post Office performance. May 28,2022 our 6 foot artificial tree was not delivered but a note in our mail box stated it was too big for our mailbox. The post office routinely delivers packages to our door but would not deliver this. No indication for us to go to the post office to get it. We finally went there to ask about it and there it was. June 24,2022 I held our mail from 6/25 through 7/9/2022, conf # CAH432183618. No mail was held during that period. Lucky for us our neighbor picked up our mail. Aug 29,2022 packages and letters addressed to me were delivered by USPS to our neighbor. This issues is happening more and more frequently. I have delivered several pieces of mail to our neighbors as well. Sept 1, 2022 a box too large to fit in our mailbox was placed on top of our box instead of delivered to our door. It rains here often and the box contained and item worth $130. Unacceptable. I am only listing the issues this year because they are becoming more frequent. More training and/or oversight is needed. We rely on our postal service and are finding it difficult to trust the management of the delivery and mail hold processes.
