I understand this is a very busy season, however, we've had a great deal of mail that has not shown up. One was the tag registration and decal for my son's pick up, some were credit card statements or offers, some have been medical related. We've had three days of no mail just in the last week or week and a half. The mail that was to have been delivered Monday or Tuesday, scanned Saturday night, still hasn't shown up. I don't know if someone is taking it from our mailbox or if it was delivered elsewhere. One of the neighbors has already tried to utilize something and their address appeared on my credit report. One or more of the neighbors will bring mail late at night but we still get the next door neighbor's mail sometimes and he's gotten ours. There must be some way of checking mail more carefully when sorting or something. With ID theft on the rise, I'm very concerned and keep having to check my credit report and statements. I've already had to cancel credit cards due to unauthorized use and have had two credit cards that were being renewed that didn't show up. What can we do to protect ourselves other than putting a freeze on our credit reports? I have way too many problems accessing information online to rely on emailed statements since Microsoft upgraded their Outlook program and often have problems logging into accounts even though I've entered the correct credentials. I feel for the postal workers but this situation is serious. I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and hope things slow down enough that we don't have so many problems in the future. Thank you and have a blessed holiday season and New Year.
