I just had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a post office. This evening, I walked in to prepare a PRE-LABELED package that required no assistance. I was minding my own business in the back of the room when the woman working the counter yelled across the room “Hey lady with the blue jacket and blond hair! You’re not getting in line! My line is closed!” Her voice was harsh and mean. I said “I don’t need to get in line, I just need to drop something in the box”. She didn’t even acknowledge what I said. Meantime every person in the post office was looking at me (at least 20 people). I was so embarrassed and humiliated for doing absolutely nothing. I feel sorry for anyone else who came in after me to experience her extremely rude behavior. I wanted to ask her name but I didn’t want to escalate an already tense situation. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. Even though this post office is close to my home I will drive out of my way to avoid it from now on!
