In the 50+ years we have lived in the Coachella Valley we have never had a mail carrier as excellent as Mari. She works tirelessly to deliver our mail and packages. She knows her route (even in the dark when she continues to deliver mail if necessary) and the people who live on it. She always has a smile and a cheerful word for us when we see her. She always "goes above and beyond" her required duties. For example, when we are not at home and she has a package for us, she always places it behind a pillar by the front door so it is not visible from the street. The only time there is a problem is when a substitute covers her route for her. Mis-delivered mail? - we know Mari is ill or on vacation. If everyone were as lucky as we are to have someone like Mari who epitomizes the best of the USPS mail carriers, you would have no complaints.
